AC&E also provides consulting services on both Chemical and Mechanical engineering aspects of liquid/gas, liquid/liquid or liquid/solids separation, the Separation processes available and the projected merits of proposed engineering solution relating to both separation processes and water treatment plants.

The need for control of water quality and consumption of resources is recognised by all industries, from the UK construction field, to manufacturing, to the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, they all understand the huge savings potential which can be generated through efficiency improvements on water and resource usage.

More recently, further major legislative change came with the introduction of the European directive IPPC – Integrated Pollution, Prevention and Control. The directive is framed to change the way that industry addresses environmental issues.

It does this through a more effective and extensive regime designed to reduce, prevent and eliminate pollution at source, through the efficient use of natural resources. For some time, the UK’s domestic IPC – Integrated Pollution Control regime has required that emissions to air, water and land be considered together. Now that the British Government has adopted the IPPC, a further level of integration to the control of pollution and the use of resources has been introduced.

In summary, this legislation considers the environmental impact of an installation, including noise and vibration, waste minimisation, energy efficiency and site protection. It also embraces the management of a wider range of operations, looking at the pollution impact of processes and suggesting the best environmental methods of carrying them out.

It is this aspect of resource utilisation that inspires Ainsworth Consulting and Engineering Ltd and continues to drive our organisation to strive for new solutions and ever-more sophisticated technology for industry. At Ainsworth Consulting and Engineering Ltd, we hope that introduction of this legislation will drive forward the use of these new technologies design to allow the most efficient and sensitive use of the limited natural resources.

Whatever the industry, AC&E’s synergies mean that we can work with our clients to deliver cost savings & profit enhancements and reduce their impact on the environment through the employment of world class consulting, engineering and water treatment solutions.
